Reached Kasur at night and was dropped at Bus stop far from City center.I was told the new station was new and hotels are yet to open. One hotel which opened sometime ago closed due to lack of business.I asked the rickshaw driver to take me to Old stand.Even at the old stand the choice was very limited and poor.I checked in a shabby Hotel wrongfully called Makkah-Madina.
I decided to immediately pay my homage to great Poet, Saint Babba Bhulla Shah whose very bold poetry has molded society over the hundred of years since he passed away. His influences among down trodden masses is immense as he speaks their language and represent their deprivations.
The Shrine at end of Bazaar was a story of simplicity and grace and was not crowded at that time in night.I read his poetry written all over his last resting place.Prayed for him and sat out side for quite some time contemplating meaning of his verses.A darwish with load and clear voice was reciting his poetry which attracted all visitors.
Outside I found his poetry collections.Which I shall treasure for ever.
Next morning I got back to the new Bus station to go to Gujranwala via Lahore.
